About

Have you ever said, “I love em’, but I sure don’t like em!” What you meant was, “They may be my relative and friend, and in the end I might have to admit to it, but I don’t ever have to be, or want to be, around em’ much!” Well God, in Christ, has said, “I not only love em’, BUT, they are all going to be permanently hooked up and bound up with me forever because I won’t be God without a single one of em’. Jesus, make it so!!!” – and so he did! Ephesians 1:3-6!!

That’s going to be my main emphasis on this blog, so stay tuned, and bask in it as often as you can in the Grace of God, cause I’ll be right there with you!!! As for who I am….

I am Timothy Jerome Brassell, A Child the Father Always Wanted! And In His Embrace of Me (along with you) in His Son, Jesus, through the Spirit, I am also privileged to:

1.) Experience a share of Jesus’ Husbandry and Passion for my wife, Donna, to whom I have been married since July of 1991,

2.) Participate in the Father’s Unrelenting Love and Care for Jocelyn and Autumn, our children,

3.) Share in the Spirit’s Concern for, and Relationship with, all things, including our little Shih-tzu dog, Remy, and….

taste the various Joy’s and Challenges of Jesus in my distinct life as a District Pastoral Leader and Senior Pastor within the Worldwide Church of God; as a part-time Voiceover Artist serving many of His other Beloved children; and as a Son, Brother, and Friend to MANY other of His other Sons and Daughters both inside and outside my immediate family.

I grew up in Bluffton and Lima, Ohio, and have lived in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia since 1999. I like to relate with family and friends, preach the Good News of our Inclusion in Jesus, read, sing, write songs, listen to music, rollerskate, swim, collect rocks, take vacations (especially to Islands and Myrtle Beach), eat every kind of different food I can (at least once).

I also like my share of “alone” time to sleep and think (I know that the Father, Son and Spirit are always with me!!), AND, watching movies galore!!! I often work hard and quickly to reward myself with the opportunity to watch movies by myself or with family!!! Triune God knows I am tellin’ the Truth about that! :-)

You can learn more about me, and my distinctive style of living in this life, by reading this blog regularly and checking out the accompanying links! Thanks for stopping by and being interested!

Peace, Love and Blessings to You in the Triune God Who will ALWAYS Love and Like us and Who has determined NEVER to Be God without a single one of US in His Son Jesus!!!

Thanks for the Gospel tip Jerome! I snuck a peak at the paper and read a few pages and was thrilled at what I read about and see going on there! The exciting thing is that I AM going to have my opportunity to meet Jeff McSwain at our next Perichoresis Conference in Richmond, Virginia on April 18-20, 2008. He has been invited and has notified us that he is coming!!

Yes – every Blessing is ours in Jesus! You continue to BE Blessed also!

Dear “District Pastoral Leader and Senior Pastor within the Worldwide Church of God; as a part-time Voiceover Artist serving many of His other Beloved children; and as a Son, Brother, and Friend to MANY other of His other Sons and Daughters both inside and outside my immediate family,”

Why do you believe in Jesus for salvation?

    Regards, Dave

  6. tjbrassell Says:

Hello Dave! I like your Blog title and question!

The Good News of Jesus tells me, in the most simple terms, that the reason I believe in Jesus for salvation is because He, as nothing less than the Savior of the World, believes in and IN me!” Gal 2:20!

    Peace and Blessings!

    Timothy
